The 9/11 tragedy saw the need to review the measures already adopted by the International Maritime Organization to combat acts of violence and crime at sea and to come up with means on how to protect the entire industry from acts of terrorism. It was decided on November 2001, the 22nd regular season of the assembly, that in December 2002 ammendments should be made to SOLAS Chapter XI to enhance maritme security. Thus by virtue of the ammendments to SOLAS Chapter XI, the international code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS code is mandatory while part b contains additional guidance. This new legislation affects vessels on international voyages that include passenger ships, cargo ships over 500GT and Mobile Offshore Drilling Units and port Facilities serving vessels on international voyages.
Company/Ship Security Officers Training Course:
This three day course is designed to provide instruction and proficiency in compliance with the ISPS Code of Company and Ship Security Offficers(CSO/SSO). It provides the necessary information tools intended to meet the training requirements for the company and ship security officers.
Maritime Awareness Training Course:
This is a one day informational seminar on maritime security practices and regulations. It complies with the requirements of the US Department of Defense's Level I Anti Terrorism Briefing.

for Non-watchkeeping personnel and hotel staff personnel in
accordance with ILO 69 and SOLAS 74, and the 43rd testing center worldwide accredited by the U.K. Maritime and
Coast Guard Agency for the Marlins English Test.
