Brief History of C.F. Sharp, Korea

C.F. Sharp Korea was established on the 24th of November 1992 following interest shown by C.F. Sharp Principals world wide in having the agency functions of the Group of Companies represented in Korea. C. F. Sharp's partners in this enterprise were Auto Shipping Co., as the name suggests they being shipowners specialising in auto carrying craft. The personnel forming this C.F. Sharp branch were Korean shipping specialist all recognised, for many years, in broking, chartering, operating and agency work. Once the agency services had become well established, the organisation expanded into customs handling of import and export freight forwarding with effect from September 1994. With its head office in Seoul, sub agencies have been appointed in all major Korean ports which are listed below. Whilst the main purpose of C.F. Sharp Korea is to provide representation for existing Principals of the Group of Companies, the Management and Staff can, and do frequently undertake ship and cargo handling commissions from any owner or operator seeking an efficient organisation in the Republic.
