Brief History of C.F. Sharp, Japan

The original founders - Captain Hans J. Rosenfeldt and the C.F. SHARP GROUP in 1990 formed a partnership with Fuji Shipping Co. Ltd., who owned and operated pure car carriers and bulk carriers. This created a joint venture company which was named SHARP-FUJI CO. LTD., with the head office in Tokyo.

This alliance continued until 1995 when, as Fuji wished to diversity their activities, by mutual consent the partnership was amicably ended. However, in view of the considerable amount of business, and extensive clientele, which has been established. It was decided the C.F. SHARP GROUP that C.F. Sharp must continue operating so C.F. Sharp Japan Co Ltd was formed.

The Present
C.F. SHARP GROUP who has 30 years experience in crewing, ship ownership and operator, together with agency handling.

Ship Agency (Owners Protecting and Port Handling) Crewing, Customs Clearance and Forwarding. These activities are handled for both foreign Principals and Japanese based organizations.

C.F. SHARP JAPAN can serve not only for their overseas clients, but also Japanese clients of their overseas clients, in order to make own clients business smoothly expand. Agency means owners protecting and port handling. C.F. SHARP JAPAN is also recruiting foreign workforce to various companies in Japan from the C.F. SHARP GROUP OF COMPANIES. We are serving all the area from Hokkaido to Okinawa by local agents. All kinds of cargoes are handled the most efficient way conceivable. Our current staff of 11 dedicated professionals are constantly processing goods the C.F.SHARP way.

Future Expansion:
It is planned, in the very near future, to combine with International Quality Manpower Services, Inc. to supply Filipino workers for shore based activities in Japan.
