VISITOR COUNTER
CABD Department

The Crew Administration and Business Development (CABD) Department of the company is divided into four sections namely the Administration, the Business Development, the Documentation and the Family Center in order to carry out the functions of the whole CABD Department in an effective and efficient manner.

Administration

The Administration (Admin) section is in charge of the company’s overall administrative functions. It deals with Agency Agreements and Crew Wages, hand in hand with the Business Development Section. It also, handles the accreditation of Principals and their vessels with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

On special seafarer cases, Admin attends to Crew Legal, Medical, and Union matters.

During a massive recruitment drive, Admin advertises for additional manpower for new and/or existing Principals whenever the required positions are not available in the C.F. Sharp existing pool.

Admin always keep a close communication with its clients to make sure that excellent working relationship is maintained and quality service is provided. It also maintains a strong rapport with government agencies, seafaring industry and unions as related to the crewing business.

We are proud to say that CF Sharp is one of the few authorized by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration to conduct In-house

Pre-Departure Orientation Seminars for its seafarers conducted by the Admin Head.

Business Development

The Business Development section aims to keep the company abreast with the current market rates and trend to gain new business opportunities and penetrate exisitng markets.

In order to do this, the Business Development section does the following:
- Keeps constant contact with the worldwide seafaring market.
- Analyses Wage Comparisons among each type of vessel and its trade routes.
- Proposes Wage Scales, applicable to the type of vessel, and prepares a Crew Cost Estimate, showing the annual, monthly and daily cost of Filipino Crewing.
- Reviews each quarter the market rates required to source good, experienced and qualified seafarers.
- Informs and notifies Principals of the latest manning and training trends through circulars or it’s newsletter - SharpNews.
- Develops information technologies in order that C.F. Sharp can have a sharper edge over other manning agencies.

Documentation

The documentation section handles the seafarers documentation requirements i.e. visa processing for departing seafarers.

C.F. Sharp is one of the very few authorized by POEA to do In-House Processing for its seafarers.

Family Center

Utmost is the welfare of our seafarers’ families.

We provide and organize effective and alternative ways of addressing the welfare needs in a rapidly changing environment. Thus, our seafarers have peace of mind when onboard in the knowledge that their families can turn to us for their needs.

Our pledge to provide more opportunities is ongoing.
